Marvin is a little afraid. And anyway, how can he explain? He can’t tell another bug that his human friend brought him to school. “I’m not supposed to be here. I fell in,” he says.

“Not supposed to be here?” the cockroach exclaims. “Look around you, boy! This is heaven. Have you ever seen so much food in your life?”

“I’m not very hungry,” Marvin says, backing away from the cockroach.

The cockroach snorts. “Of course you are! Help yourself, little fella. Cookies, cake, cheese, grapes … whatever you want, it’s yours.”

“I just want to get out of here,” Marvin says.
